Performance to camera, moving image

 

A black and white, one-shot moving image piece capturing a performance to camera. An 8/0 straight eye fishing hook with a bead of fluid running down the barb hangs against a white background. The artist enters the shot from the right and proceeds to tease the hook with their mouth, lips and tongue. The piece has ambient noises throughout including breathing, swallowing and occasional clumsy thumps and shuffles as the artist adjusts their body position.
